Specials > Paper Hot Pot

You've heard of iron pots, earthenware pots, bronze pots and even pots made of glass, but a paper pot? Seven Seas introduces one of China's trendy dine-out methods - food served in a paper hot pot.
The paper, originally a Japanese creation, is made of a square-shaped paper that is three or four times thicker than regular paper. It is designed to fold upwards all around to take the shape of a container so that food can be held in the middle.
Yes, you heard right. It is a paper container contained in a wire-mesh basket sitting on the fire.
Really cool, huh?
We've taken a Japanese food-presentation style to serve Chinese dishes in them. Seven Seas' paper pot dishes are designed to be lower in calories and fat, however, the pot continues to absorbs excess oil as you eat.
Healthy, delicious & different! What better way to eat?
